I know, I know… it shocked me, too. Can you actually believe we are into March already? Well, I can’t. We just completed a move into a new home and I’m literally drowning in my family’s laundry. It just so happens that I despise laundry… not so much the act of washing the clothes/towels/bedding but its the folding that makes me want to jab an ice pick into my eye. Graphic? Yes. Exaggerating? Not in the least…ok maybe just a teensy bit.

So in an attempt to skirt my wifely and motherly laundry duties I instead plopped down in front of the TV and tried to enjoy the Oscars on Sunday. I’m going to just go ahead and echo all the other critics out there… WHAT THE CRAP HAPPENED TO JAMES FRANCO? I’m sure when producers hired him he seemed like the right guy for the “youth” market, but really?? One critic nailed it when he said that’s the last time someone under 50 hosts the Oscars for the next 5-10 years. Poor, sweet Anne Hathaway! That girl was summoning all the charisma and charm she had in her. She honestly should have just pushed Franco off the stage and made it a solo act. And PS, I absolutely LOVED all dress changes. My fav was her silver beaded tassel dress by Oscar de la Renta… her whole look was fun!

Unlike my Golden Globes fashion breakdown I much rather just share with you the 2 gowns that I personally feel were show stoppers. Hands down my favs were…

Mila Kunis in Elie Saab. Oh the lace! Oh the lavender! Oh so amazing!

Hilary Swank in Gucci Premiere. Two words… ostrich feathers. Yes please!
